There are a few fashion gals out there that I regularly see in outfits that make me stop and really wonder “where did they get that?”. The Swedish clothing brand & Other Stories is one of those. I always assumed that their clothing must be really expensive because it looked expensive, so I’d never gone and checked the website out until recently.
From the designs to the pricing of the pieces they sell, it is safe to say I’m obsessed! & Other Stories’ clothing, accessories and beauty products come from three design ateliers in Paris, Stockholm and Los Angeles – each with its own unique sense of style. The brand has largely flown under the radar in the U.S. so it was surprising to learn that they are owned by the H&M Group.
I had a really hard time deciding what to get and ultimately decided on this tie up wrap dress in the color rust (it also comes in solid green). It is from their Paris atelier and only $69! The dress is mini length with a gathered waist, side tie waist and curved hemline. It also has a keyhole back closure. I’m wearing a size 6 which fits me comfortably. The material is 100 percent Viscose which I did not read on the tag when trying to iron out the wrinkles, hence the wrinkles in the photos. Apparently, you are supposed to iron Viscose when damp to get out the toughest wrinkles (noted for the future).
